The value for money at Sunflex was excellent with a high-quality room and a tasty breakfast. The location was perfect, close to the ferry terminal and a bustling restaurant district. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist, despite the language barrier.

The Sunflex hotel in Kagoshima had some great features. the room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds that ensured a restful sleep. the breakfast provided was delicious and varied, offering a wide selection of both local and international dishes. One of the highlights was the room with a view of Sakurajima, a stunning volcano that added an extra touch of beauty to the stay.

There were a few drawbacks during my stay. the location of the hotel was quite difficult to find when driving, even with the help of Google Maps.

The hallways and common areas were boiling hot.

We had a great experience staying at Sunflex in Kagoshima. The location was perfect, as it was near the ferry terminals and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and the staff was incredibly polite and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which was well worth the additional cost of 1100 yens. The traditional Japanese breakfast was served promptly and the kitchen staff were efficient and attentive. our stay at Sunflex was excellent and we highly recommend it.

There were a couple of negative aspects to my stay. the room that I stayed in had a bit of a strange odor that was not very pleasant.

Spent a lovely Christmas holiday at a cozy hotel close to the harbor with plenty of local ferry options. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous and replaced our bottled water each day. The breakfast was nice with a variety of options for Western and Asian. Trams situated just a short walk from the hotel made it easy to visit any central areas of the city. The room was finished and well-maintained with prompt service.

The location of the hotel made it hard to spot right away, especially at night if you're driving. since we reserved a double room, it seemed small with the bed against the wall.
